Village of the Year 2010
This year’s Village of the Year competition attracted 20 entries, down four on 2009. Equal numbers entered from Bath & North East Somerset and South Gloucestershire, North Somerset had fewer. Although no longer constrained by the requirements of a sponsor, the competition followed the format introduced two years ago with greater emphasis on the community rather than the physical structure. All winners receive a framed certificate and a cheque. This year the presentations will be made in the villages rather than at the Branch AGM.
